His wife of 50 years, Opal M., died in 1995.
Mr. Gustin was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps during World War II.
Survivors include seven daughters, Ellen M. Nugent of Fort Smith, Ark., Sandra Siewert and Barbara Kennedy, both of Vancouver, Patricia Briggs of Woodburn, Ore., Diana Owens and Karen Gustin, both of Camas, and Grace A. Hemenway of Silver Springs, Nev.; two sons, Edward of Rathdrum, Idaho, and Lawrence L. of Brush Prairie; 26 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren. Mr. Gustin loved fishing, gardening and puzzles. He was a member of Lacamas Heights Baptist Church.
A funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The Gustins were married Sept. 16, 1945, in Vancouver. They have lived in Clark County for about 23 years, and reside in Camas.
The couple has nine children, Ellen Nugent, Edward Gustin, Sandra Siewert, Larry Gustin, Barbara Kennedy, Patty Briggs, Diana Owens, Karen Gustin and Grace Hemenway; 26 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Lawrence retired from Pendleton Woolen Mills. He enjoys working in the yard.
Opal retired from Highland Terrace Convalescent Center. She enjoys playing bingo.
