EAST HARWICH - Jane E. (Pugh) Cuspilich, 82, died at her home
yesterday.
Mrs. Cuspilich was born in Staunton, Va., attended Mary Baldwin College
and then enlisted for active duty in the Navy Reserve, where she served
as a Wave during World War II.
She settled in West New York, N.J., with her husband and worked as an
administrative assistant in the physics department at Stevens Institute
of Technology. After retiring, she settled in East Harwich and was an
active member of the American Legion in Orleans and The Emblem Club of
the Orleans/Eastham Elks. She was also a member of the WAVES National.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, John F. Cuspilich of East
Harwich; a daughter, Jane Hargreaves of Dennis; a son, John T.
Cuspilich of Berwyn, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home,
729 Route 134, South Dennis. A graveside service is at 10 a.m. Thursday
at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, followed by a memorial
service at noon at Dennis Union Church, Route 6A, Dennis.
Memorial donations may be made to the Dennis Union Church Memorial
Scholarship Program, Dennis Union Church, Route 6A, Dennis, MA 02638.
